Punaram Kirana Store

Punaram Kirana Store is tucked away in the Barli Sadri area of Ranakpur. It is a quiet part of town compared to the main roads. We have been serving the people here for quite a while now, mostly just providing the basic groceries that every household needs to get through the week. You’ll see big sacks of lentils and rice stacked up against the walls. We don't use much fancy equipment, just our hands and a basic scale to measure everything out. The shop smells like a mix of dried chilies and laundry soap. Most of our customers are neighbors who have lived here as long as we have. We know exactly what they want before they even ask for it. When the harvest season comes around, things get a bit busier, but usually, it is just a steady flow of people coming in for a few items at a time. The building is simple, with old wooden shelves that have seen better days. We spend some time every afternoon restocking the jars of candy and the small packets of spices.
