Mangalam Namkin & Suit

You can find us over at 15-89, right near the M J B Gramin Bank. We are close to the new bus station in Rohat, so we get a lot of travelers stopping in. It is a bit of a strange mix, selling namkin and suits in the same place, but it works for us. One side of Mangalam Namkin & Suit smells like spices and fried snacks, while the other side is full of colorful fabric and unstitched suits. We have to be careful not to get any crumbs on the clothes. The bus station nearby means there is a lot of exhaust and noise all day long. We keep the glass doors shut as much as we can to keep the dust out. It’s usually just a couple of us working here, trying to serve the snack customers while helping someone pick out a suit. The shelves for the namkin are made of glass and need cleaning every few hours. Rohat is a busy place, and being near the bank helps with the foot traffic. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use candles until the generator kicks in. It’s not a fancy life, but we stay busy. We have a few plastic chairs for people who are waiting for their bus to arrive. It’s a simple setup and we like the variety of people we meet every day.
