Madan Regar

I am Madan Regar and I have my setup on Ramnagar Road No 6. It is right opposite the petrol pump, which makes it easy for people to find me. Being across from the pump means there is always a lot of noise and the smell of fuel, but it is a good landmark. I spend most of my day right here or out at a customer's place. The sun hits this side of the road pretty hard in the afternoon, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. I have a few helpers who come and go depending on how much work there is. We do a bit of everything that needs doing. It is a practical business. There is no polish here, just some tools and a place to sit. I have lived around Ramnagar for a long time, so I know most of the people who walk by. We talk about the weather or the local news while we work. It is not a corporate setup at all. If the door is open, I am in. If it is locked, I am probably out working on a site. Sometimes the supply of materials runs low and I have to go into the main market to get more. That is just how it is. It is a simple life of working with my hands and making sure the job gets done.
