We are based in the industrial area on Mandia Road at plot F 172. This is an engineering workshop where we do a lot of metal fabrication and repair work. The shop is full of lathes, welding machines, and scrap metal piled in the corners. There is always the sound of grinding metal or the bright flash of a welding torch going off. We take on all kinds of jobs, from fixing a broken tractor part to making iron gates for new houses. The floor is always covered in iron filings and oil, so you have to watch your step. It’s a place for people who don't mind getting their hands greasy and working in the heat. We have a small crew of guys who are good with their hands and can figure out how to fix just about anything made of steel. Most of our customers are from the other factories nearby or farmers who bring in their equipment. We don’t really have a front office, just a small corner with a table where we look at drawings or talk about the price of a job. It is a hard, honest way to make a living, turning raw metal into something useful. The days are long and the work is physically demanding, but there is a certain satisfaction in finishing a clean weld or hearing a machine run smooth again after we've fixed it. It's just simple shop work.
