Daimond Engineering Works Shop

Our shop is located at R 400 A Mandia Road. It’s not hard to find if you know the area. Daimond Engineering Works Shop has been here for quite some time. We do a lot of different things with metal and machines. It’s a workshop, so expect some noise and metal shavings on the floor. We aren't trying to be fancy here. Most of us just wear old clothes because everything gets dirty anyway. The work involves a lot of measuring and cutting. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a job because a part didn't fit right the first time. That's the thing with engineering, you have to be patient. We have a few old machines that we’ve used for years, and they still work better than the new ones sometimes. People from around Mandia Road know they can just drop in. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't holding a welding torch. We handle various repairs and fabrications. The lighting isn't the greatest in the back, but we know where everything is. It's a busy place, especially in the afternoons. We just focus on the task at hand. If someone needs something welded or a piece of steel cut to size, we do it. It’s just what we do every day. There is no big mystery to it. We just open up in the morning, do the jobs that come in, and close up when we’re done.
