Kumar Pan Bhandar

If you're standing at the College Road Bus Stop, you'll see Kumar Pan Bhandar right there. It’s a tiny place, more of a stall than a full shop really. We have just enough room for one or two of us to stand inside. The walls are covered with different small items, and there's a small mirror hanging on one side. We get a lot of students because of the college nearby. They're usually in a rush or looking for something quick while they wait for their bus. It's a noisy spot with all the traffic, but we've got a good view of the street. We spend our day preparing the leaves and making sure we have enough supplies for whoever stops by. The counter is a bit scratched up from years of use. We don't have any fancy lighting, just one bulb that we turn on when it gets dark. Sometimes the rain splashes in from the road, so we have to keep everything tucked back. We aren't part of any big chain. It's just a local business that's been in this same spot for quite some time. We know the bus schedules better than anyone else. Most of our day is spent chatting with the regulars or just watching the cars go past. It’s a simple setup, but it’s ours. We don't need much more than that to keep things running.
