J K General Store

We run J K General Store over in Mahaveer Udhyog Nagar 100. It is a standard neighborhood shop where we keep a bit of everything on the shelves. You can find things like soap, lentils, flour, and the usual snacks that kids like. We open up early in the morning because that is when the milk comes in and people are heading out for work. The space is a bit tight because we try to cram in as many supplies as possible. Sometimes I forget where I put the smaller items, like the matchboxes or the specific spices. Mahaveer Udhyog Nagar is a busy little spot, so there is usually someone coming in every few minutes. We don't do anything fancy here, just sell what people need for their daily cooking and cleaning. I spend a lot of my time talking to the neighbors who stop in for a bit of tea or just to pick up some sugar. It is a quiet life for the most part, just managing the inventory and making sure we don't run out of the basics. We get our deliveries from the bigger wholesalers once or twice a week. Sometimes the crates get piled up high near the door and it is hard to move around. I keep a little diary to track who owes what, as is common here. People appreciate that they can just walk over and get what they need without a long trip. It is a humble place, just four walls and a lot of goods.
