Bapu Genral Store

Bapu Genral Store is tucked away in the Marwar Sindhi Bazar area. If you know the bazaar, you know it can get pretty loud and busy with all the shoppers. Our store has been a part of this scene for quite some time. We sell all the little things you might run out of at home. We have shelves reaching up to the ceiling, and sometimes we need a ladder to get to the top ones. It is a bit of a squeeze when the delivery guys bring in new crates, but we manage. We aren't looking to be some fancy supermarket. We like the personal touch of the bazaar. We know which neighbor likes which brand and who is looking for a bargain. The floor is a bit worn down from all the feet walking over it, but that just shows we’ve been here a while. We open early in the morning to catch the early shoppers and stay until the bazaar starts to quiet down in the evening. There is always a bit of dust because of the street outside, but we keep things as clean as we can. It’s a family business, and we take pride in just being a steady part of the market. No big promises, just a simple place to buy your groceries and household items. We’ve seen plenty of shops come and go, but we’re still here.
