Ashapura Mobile Shop

Down in Sadri, you’ll find Ashapura Mobile Shop. It’s a local place where we sell phones and fix them when they break. The shop is small, so it gets crowded pretty quickly if more than three people come in at once. We have a lot of different colorful phone covers hanging on the walls to make the place look a bit more lively for the customers. Most of the day is spent peering through a magnifying glass at small circuit boards or trying to get a stubborn charging port to work correctly. Sadri is a nice town, and our shop is a bit of a hangout for people to catch up on gossip while they wait for their repairs to be finished. We have an old radio playing in the background most of the time, usually some local music or the afternoon news. The floor is made of simple tile that we sweep every morning, though the dust always finds its way back in through the open door. We don't have any corporate training or anything like that; we just learned by doing and by fixing things over and over until we got it right. It’s a humble business, and we are happy to be part of the community here. When the sun sets and the street gets quiet, we lock up the shutters and head home to our families, just like everyone else on the street. It’s honest work and it keeps us going.
