Arora Chat Bhandar

If you walk through Rani Pratap Bazar, you will find Arora Chat Bhandar tucked away in the middle of all the noise. The bazar is always crowded with people shopping for clothes and household stuff, so it gets pretty loud. We have a small corner where we set up every day. I start by getting the chutneys ready, mixing the mint and the tamarind until they taste right. It is a lot of work getting everything chopped and prepped before the afternoon rush starts. The street is narrow, so people are always bumping into each other right outside our door. We have some small stools for people to sit on, but most folks just stand and eat. I have been doing this for a long time, and I know a lot of the other shopkeepers around here. We usually share a tea in the morning before the customers start arriving. The heat in the bazar can be tough during the summer, but the overhead fan helps a bit. We don't have any big mission or anything; we just keep the stove hot and the plates full. Some days are slower than others, especially when it rains and the bazar gets muddy. But we are always here, just doing what we do every single day without any fuss. It isn't much to look at, but it is what we know. We just take it one plate at a time.
