Aadarsh Provision Store

If you go down to Sarafa Bazar and look for Badhshah Ka Jhanda, you will find our little provision store nearby. Aadarsh Provision Store is tucked into one of those narrow streets where the history of the city feels very close. The smell inside is a mix of dried chilies, turmeric, and raw pulses. We spend our mornings weighing out grams of spices and packing them into small bags. It is a traditional way of doing things, and we haven't seen much reason to change it. The area around Badhshah Ka Jhanda is always crowded with shoppers and bikes, so it can be a bit of a squeeze to get through. We have regular customers who have been buying their monthly grains from us for decades. Their parents came here, and now their children come here. It is a honest day's work, dealing with the basics of what people eat every day in their homes. We just keep the shelves stocked and wait for the regulars to stop by.
