The Tree House (Learn & Play)

You can find The Tree House (Learn & Play) over in Virar East at the Viva Jangid Complex. We are specifically in Shop No 25/26 of the Sai Kutir Chs in Manvelpada. It’s a local spot where parents from the complex and the nearby buildings bring their little ones. Since it’s a play school, things get pretty loud and messy, but that is just part of the deal. We have set up the space with plenty of toys and mats so the kids can run around without getting hurt too much. It’s not a huge place, just a couple of shops converted into a learning area, but it feels cozy for the kids. We focus more on playing and getting along with others than on hard lessons, because they are still very small. The teachers are mostly local women who are good with children and don't mind the chaos. We don't have any fancy early childhood jargon; we just make sure the kids are safe and having a bit of fun while they learn their ABCs. Parents usually drop them off on their way to the station or work and pick them up a few hours later. We keep things informal. If a kid is crying, we pick them up. If they are hungry, we make sure they eat their snacks. It’s a very practical, neighborhood kind of place. We’ve been here in Palghar for a bit now and the locals seem to like how we do things. It's a nice little community.
