Mighty Mouse Play School

Mighty Mouse Play School is located in a row house at Shree Laxmi Palace. It’s row house number 3 in the Kanakia area of Mira Road East. Being in a house makes it feel more like home for the kids who come here. We have a small yard where they can run around a bit during the break. It gets pretty loud when everyone is playing outside, but that’s expected with small children. We’ve been running this school for some time now. We have toys, blocks, and colorful books everywhere. It’s not a huge institution with big gates. It’s a place where local kids come for a few hours while their parents are at work. We teach them their letters and numbers, but mostly we just make sure they are safe and getting along with each other. Mira Road is a growing place, and there are many new families moving here now. We know the parents and see them every morning at the gate. Sometimes a kid doesn't want to come in at first, and sometimes they don't want to leave when it’s time to go home. We handle the spills and the crying and the laughter that happens every day. It’s a lot of energy required to keep up with them, but we enjoy the company. We don't have a fancy curriculum, just the basics to get them ready for their next big school. It’s a lot of work but seeing them grow is good.
