The Masala Bazaar

We are located on the ground floor of the Pushpakiran Building. It’s Shop Number 1, right on Jeevdani Road. If you are looking for us, we’re quite close to Khimani House, which is a big local spot everyone knows. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the smell of all the different spices we have. We keep a lot of masalas, grains, and other cooking essentials in big bags and jars. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes because we try to stock so much in such a small space. We spend a lot of the day weighing things out for people who come in with their own containers or just need a small amount of something. Jeevdani Road is always full of life, with people walking by on their way to the temple or doing their daily shopping. We’re right there in the mix of it. The shop is simple, with wooden shelves and a stone floor that we try to keep clean despite all the dust from the spices. We don't have any fancy brochures or anything, just the goods we sell. People come to us because they know we’ve been here and they like the way we do things. It’s just a local shop where we work hard and talk to our neighbors while they shop for their kitchens. It is a nice way to earn a living.
