Our office is tucked away near the Mira Road station at Ec-1. Being so close to the station means there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. Inside, things are usually a bit cluttered with computer towers and monitors that need work. We started this because we know our way around a motherboard and figured we could help the local folks here in Thane. It’s not a polished corporate office with fancy furniture. We have simple desks and plenty of tools scattered around. Most of the time, we are busy fixing software issues or cleaning out dust from old CPUs. People drop off their laptops on their way to the train and hope to pick them up when they get back in the evening. We try to keep up with the pile of work, but some days the repairs take longer than we expect. The air conditioner sometimes makes a rattling sound, but it keeps the machines cool enough. We’ve got a few technicians who have been with us for a bit. We just focus on the task at hand, whether it is a server problem or just a keyboard that stopped working. It is honest work and keeps us busy from morning until we close up for the night. The neighborhood is loud, but we like being where the action is near the tracks.
