Superabrasive Engg Tools

We spend a lot of time here at Gala No.3 in the Dattani Industrial Estate. It’s out in Pelhav, so the commute to Vasai Road East can be a bit much depending on the train. Most mornings start with unlocking the shutter and getting the lights on. It’s a dusty place because of the tools we make. Superabrasive Engg Tools isn’t a huge operation, just a few of us working the machines and making sure things are cut right. The fan in the corner rattles all day long, and we usually have the radio playing low in the background. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just sit outside on the steps until it comes back on. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The guy in the unit next to us always complains about the noise, but that’s just how it goes in an industrial estate. We handle a lot of metal and different abrasive materials every day. It gets hot in the summer, especially when all the equipment is running at once. Lunch is usually something brought from home or a quick bite from the stall around the corner. We don't have fancy office chairs or anything like that. Just some old desks and the workbenches where the real stuff happens. We just try to get the orders done on time and hope the delivery truck shows up when it’s supposed to. It’s a simple life here in Vasai.
