Indian Knives And Tools Co. is located in Ambedkar Udyog Nagar, right out in the Sativali area of Vasai East. We are quite close to the Western Express Highway, which makes it easier for the trucks to get in and out, though the traffic can be a real headache sometimes. Our workshop is in the Palghar district, and it’s a proper industrial setting. There is always the sound of grinding wheels and the smell of cut metal in the air. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning; we mostly work in the open bay where the air circulates. It gets very humid here, especially during the monsoon, but the work doesn't stop. We make tools and industrial knives, so our benches are covered in steel shavings and oil. It’s a tough environment but it suits us. The guys have been working here for years and they know exactly how to handle the machines. We don't have a website or a marketing person telling us how to act. We just focus on making sure the tools are right. If you come to visit, you'll probably find us mid-task, and we might have to shout over the noise to be heard. It’s just a regular workshop in a busy industrial nagar, doing what we know how to do without any fuss or pretense. That is just how things are for us in Sativali.
