Our shop is at Number 6 in the J.M. Shopping Centre. It’s right across from the railway station in Virar West, so it’s always busy with people rushing to catch their trains. You can hear the announcements from the station all day long. We’ve been here for a while and we’ve gotten used to the noise and the crowds. It’s a small space, mostly filled with boxes and shelves. We don’t have much room for people to walk around inside, so things can get a bit tight when we have more than two customers. We handle different kinds of products, and it’s a lot of work keeping track of what’s in stock and what’s not. We don’t use any high-tech systems for that; it’s mostly just us checking the shelves and writing it down. The building is a bit old and the elevator doesn't always work right, so we end up carrying things up and down the stairs more than we’d like. We don't have any fancy signs or big ads. Most people just see us when they’re walking to the station. We drink a lot of tea and chat with the other shop owners in the centre. It’s a friendly enough place, even if it is a bit hectic with all the commuters. We just focus on our daily tasks and try to stay organized in the middle of all the station madness. It’s a long day, but being near the station makes it interesting.
