You can find us in Raotale, right on the Mumbai Goa Highway. We are situated near the Bharat Petroleum Pump, which is where most people stop to stretch their legs or get gas. Since we are on such a major road, we see a lot of travelers passing through. Some are locals from the nearby villages, and some are driving all the way down the coast. We keep the shop open late because the highway never really sleeps. It can be quite dusty with all the trucks going by, but we try to keep the inside clean for anyone who wants to sit for a minute. We have a variety of flavors in the freezer, and we just try to keep them stocked up. Running a business on the highway means you never know who is going to walk through the door. One minute it’s empty, and the next a whole busload of people arrives. We just do our best to keep up. We’ve been here for a while, and we’ve become a bit of a landmark for regular travelers. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. We just put the sign out and keep the lights on. It’s a lot of work staying on top of the inventory and making sure the electricity stays steady. But we like being out here. It’s an interesting place to work with the whole world driving past.
