Petersons Supermart Limited

Petersons Supermart is over in Vasai West, specifically in the Sandor neighborhood. Our shop is set up in Flat No 1 of building number 1, Shreeji Kripa. It is mostly a residential area, so the street stays pretty calm during the hot afternoons. Vasai has changed quite a bit lately with all the new buildings, but our little corner still feels like the old days. We moved into this specific building because it was a convenient spot for the local families to reach us on foot. The space is a bit tight, given that it was originally a flat, but we made it work by arranging the shelves very carefully. Every morning we slide open the shutters and start putting the fresh items out. The salt air from the nearby coast makes things rust a bit faster here, so we have to spend time cleaning the metal racks often. We do not have a big team, just a couple of us who live nearby and walk to work every morning. We see the same faces every single day, mostly people walking to the station or coming back from the fish market. We do not really do any big advertising or anything like that. Most people in Sandor just know where the Shreeji Kripa building is located. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour, and we just sit outside on the steps and talk to the people passing by. It is a simple life for us. We just wanted a place to work.
