Our office is in V.M. Plaza, number 7, right near the Sai Residency hotel on Mahim Road. It is a pretty easy place to spot if you are driving by. We do software work here, which means there is a lot of typing and clicking going on throughout the day. The building itself is okay, nothing too fancy, but it serves our needs well enough. We have a few rooms filled with computers and a small area where we eat our lunch. Mahim Road is always busy, so there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. We have been here for a while, and the neighborhood feels like home now. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird rattling sound, but we have gotten used to it. We do not really do big meetings with suits and ties. Most of us just wear jeans and focus on whatever code we are writing that day. It is a relaxed environment, but the work is steady. We handle different types of software projects, some small and some that take months of effort. If things get stressful, someone usually goes out to get tea for everyone. It is a small team, and we all know each other well. There is no corporate ladder here, just people trying to get the software right so we can go home on time. It is a simple life in a busy part of town.
