Eschmann Textures House

You can find us at Building No. 1 in the Gaodevi Industrial Complex. We are right across from the Sai Service in Sativali, Vasai East. It’s a bit of a journey to get out here, but we like having the space. We work on texturing, which is a very detailed and slow process. It’s not something you can rush. The workshop is usually quiet compared to other industrial places because we have to concentrate. We have various tools and chemicals for the etching and texturing work. The smell of the workshop is quite distinct, a mix of metal and something sharper. We have a small team of technicians who have a lot of experience. We don't really have a front desk or a receptionist. If someone visits, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to meet them at the door. There’s a small area where we have our tea and talk about the day’s work. Sometimes the commute from the city is a bit much, but the work is interesting enough to keep us coming back. We have some old posters on the walls and a calendar that’s a few months out of date. We aren't a corporate office with a lot of rules. We just have our way of doing things that has worked for a long time. It’s a specialized craft, and we are happy to just keep at it in our corner of Vasai. It’s quiet and we like it that way.
