We are located in Sector No.7, over at Shanti Nagar in Mira Road. Specifically, we're in building B/16, room 404. It’s a busy area and the building has been here for quite some time. Being on the fourth floor means we see a lot of people coming up and down the stairs or using the lift when it’s working right. Desai & Sons Pvt. Ltd. is basically just us working through files and handling the daily chores of a private limited company. The office isn't very big, so things can get a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time. We have our desks pushed up against the walls and there are usually stacks of paper that need filing. Outside, the noise of Mira Road is always there in the background. It’s a lively neighborhood with plenty of shops and people walking around. We usually start early in the morning and stay until the work for the day is finished. Sometimes we have tea delivered from the stall downstairs. It’s a family-run kind of vibe even if the name sounds a bit formal on paper. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just the calendars and maybe some old photos. Most of our day is spent on the phone or typing away on the old computers we have. It’s a regular office life here at B/16, nothing more and nothing less.
