Amber Ice Cream

Amber Ice Cream is based at Shop No.8 in the Sukh Sagar Apartments. We are located on Pooja Nagar Road in Naya Nagar, Mira Road East. Being on the ground floor of an apartment building means we are right in the thick of things. There are always people coming and going, and we get to see a lot of the local life from our front door. The shop isn't very large, but we have enough room for our freezers and a small space for people to stand. We focus on serving the families who live nearby. Mira Road is a fast-growing area, and things have changed a lot since we first opened, but we have stayed pretty much the same. We don't use any corporate talk or have fancy slogans. We just sell ice cream. My wife and I take turns running the shop. It is a lot of standing and talking to customers, but we enjoy it. Sometimes the traffic on Pooja Nagar Road gets backed up and it gets really noisy, but that is just part of living in this part of town. We stay open pretty late because that's when most people in Naya Nagar are out and about. It’s a steady business and we are happy to be a part of the Sukh Sagar community.
