Our main office is out in Jawhar, in a small village called Gorwadi. The house number is 746. It is quite a long drive if you are coming from the main part of Mumbai, but this is where Adityaveda Cashew Industries Private Limited is based. Being in the Thane region, specifically in a rural taluka like Jawhar, gives us a very different perspective on business. It is much quieter than the city, but the work we do is just as demanding. We deal with cashews, which are a major part of the economy in this specific region. Our office is basically integrated into the local community. We do not have a big glass building with elevators or a fancy lobby. It is a very traditional and practical setup. The air is definitely better out here and the pace of life feels a bit more natural. We handle the industrial side of things, ensuring that the cashew processing and the distribution schedules stay on track. Most of the people who work with us are from Gorwadi or the other nearby villages. We are not a large corporate entity with a polished image. We are just a private limited company trying to make the cashew industry work well in this part of Maharashtra. It is earthy, practical work that depends on the seasons. Sometimes the roads get washed out during the heavy monsoons, but we always find a way to keep things going.
