Amr Bricks

It’s a bit dusty down here in Burkitmanagaram, especially along Palai Seevalaperi Road where we keep our yard. My family and a few guys from the neighborhood spend most of our time at 2/15, just making sure the stacks of bricks stay upright. It’s not a fancy setup, just some sheds and a lot of ground space for the trucks to turn around. We see a lot of people passing by on their way into town. Most mornings start early, usually before the sun gets too high, because once it gets hot out here, moving these heavy things becomes a lot harder. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. You’ll see the Amr Bricks sign if you’re driving down the road, though it’s faded a bit from the weather. We mostly deal with local builders who need a load for a small house or a wall. There isn't much to it besides the red dirt and the sound of the tractor. Sometimes the rain messes up our schedule, and we have to wait for the ground to dry out before we can load anything heavy. It's just how things go. We try to keep the piles organized, but it usually ends up looking a bit messy by Friday. If you stop by, someone is usually sitting near the entrance with a ledger. It’s a simple life, just bricks and the road. We don't mind the hard work as long as the orders keep coming.
