Kallazhagar Matriculation School Hr.Sec is situated out in Ayyanarpuram, which is part of the Natham area in Dindigul. We handle students from the younger grades all the way up to higher secondary levels. It is a fairly large building because we have so many different age groups under one roof. The school has been part of the Ayyanarpuram community for years. Most of our students come from the local villages and they either walk or take the bus to get here. We do not have any flashy equipment or modern art on the walls, just the usual classrooms with desks and blackboards. The teachers here have been with us for a long time and they know the families in Natham quite well. We follow the state syllabus and stay busy with the regular cycle of lessons and exams. It can get quite hot in Dindigul, so we try to keep the windows open to let the air move through the rooms. We do not spend much time on marketing or big advertisements. People in the area just know who we are and where to find us. Dealing with the older students in higher secondary takes a bit more effort, but we manage to get through the school year. We are just a local institution focused on the daily task of teaching the kids who come through our gates every morning.
