Ar Adarsh

My name is Ar Adarsh and I’m located right near the GLA College gate in Daltonganj. If you live in this part of Jharkhand, you probably know the spot well. My father is Arjun Singh, and I’ve set up my little workspace here at our family home. It’s a good location because it’s close to the main road, though it can get a bit noisy with all the college students walking past the gate throughout the day. I spend my days in a ground-floor room that I’ve converted into an office. It’s not anything fancy, just a room with a table and a few plastic chairs for when people come to visit. I keep my books and documents in stacks on a side table. There isn't a big sign outside, so you have to know where you're going to find me. I’ve been in Daltonganj for a long time, so I’m used to the local pace. The summers here are very hot, and the ceiling fan doesn't always do enough to keep things cool, but we manage. I don’t have a complex business model or a big team behind me. I just handle the work that comes my way one thing at a time. I like the independence of working like this. It allows me to stay close to my family and still get my work done every day. I usually close up shop when it starts getting dark outside.
