Prakash Metal Stores

Prakash Metal Stores is located on G. B. Road. It’s one of those old-fashioned metal shops where there is always a bit of a metallic smell in the air. We have been here for a long time, and the shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of metal parts, rods, and sheets. It’s not the cleanest place because of all the iron and steel moving around, so we usually wear old clothes to work. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the sound of metal clanging or someone cutting a piece to size. G. B. Road is always crowded with trucks and rickshaws, so it can be quite a task just to load up a customer’s order. We don't have a website or anything like that; people usually just know we are here. Our counter is an old wooden one that has seen a lot of use over the years. We spend our days weighing items and making sure we have enough stock of the basics. It’s a loud, busy environment, but we are used to it. The staff is just a few of us who have been working with metal for years. We don't do anything fancy, just sell what people need for their construction or repair work. It is a straightforward, honest way to make a living in a busy market. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming when three trucks arrive at once, but we manage somehow.
