Par Active Technologies

You can find us at the SIDCO Pharmaceutical Complex in Alathur. We take up plots 16, 17, 31, and 32, so it’s a decent-sized space we have here. Par Active Technologies is mostly about the technical side of things. We’ve got labs and production areas where we work on different components. It’s a quiet area compared to the city, mostly just other pharmaceutical plants around us. The work we do is very specific. There’s a lot of sitting at benches and looking at small parts or mixing things carefully. We have to keep the place quite clean, so there’s a lot of mopping and dusting going on. Most of the staff comes in from the surrounding villages or nearby towns. We have a small break room where we eat our lunch. The drive out to Alathur can be long, but it’s nice to be away from the heavy traffic once you get here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just focus on the batches we have to finish each week. Sometimes things go wrong with a machine and we have to spend the whole day fixing it. It’s just part of the job. We don’t have much in the way of a front office, just the workspace and the storage for the finished goods. There is always some paperwork to deal with, but we prefer being out on the floor getting things done.
