Brahma Company

Brahma Company is run out of Rohini House on Palat Road in Ottapalam. It is an old building, but it suits us just fine. We have a couple of rooms where we handle our daily business. Most of the time, we are just managing local orders and talking to people who drop by. Palat Road can get quite busy during the festival seasons, so getting in and out of the driveway is sometimes a pain. We have been here for quite some time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that. We deal with various general trade items and services. It is not a specialized high-tech firm. We just do a bit of everything that comes our way. The staff is small, mostly family and a few neighbors who have been with us for years. We sit around a big wooden table for most of our meetings. It is a very informal atmosphere. We do not really use a lot of fancy software to run things; a lot of it is still written down in ledgers. Ottapalam is a nice place to work, even if it is a bit slow compared to the big cities. We like the pace here. It is an honest way to make a living, and everyone knows where to find us. There is a big tree out front that provides some shade for the cars. We usually close up around six.
