Bag Bazar

Our shop, Bag Bazar, sits right on the Main Road in Olavakkode. It’s a high-traffic area, so we get a lot of people just wandering in while they’re out doing their other shopping. We have bags of all kinds hanging from the ceiling and stacked on the shelves—school bags, travel suitcases, little purses, and everything in between. The place is a bit cramped because we try to fit as much stock in as possible. It can get a bit dusty with all the vehicles passing by outside, but we try to keep the bags clean. We’ve been in Olavakkode for years, and we’ve seen kids grow up, buying their first school bag from us and then coming back years later for something bigger. We don't do much advertising; the open door and the bags out front usually do the work for us. Sometimes people come in just to compare prices or to see if a zipper can be fixed. We help out where we can. It’s a simple retail life. We open early, sweep the floor, and wait for the morning rush. The noise from the main road is something you just get used to after a week or two. We like being right in the middle of the action where we can see the whole town passing by our front door every single day.
