Newtech Engineers

Our place, Newtech Engineers, is situated in the New Industrial Development Area over in Kanjikode. It’s a busy place with a lot of trucks moving in and out all the time. We have a decent-sized workshop where we handle all our engineering projects. It’s not a very pretty building, but it’s solid and keeps the rain off the machines. We’ve been in this area for a while and we know most of the other shop owners nearby. We help each other out sometimes when a machine breaks down or someone needs a specific tool. The work we do is practical. We don't spend time on fancy presentations. Usually, a customer just brings in a sketch or an old part and asks us to make a new one. We figure out the best way to do it with what we have. Some of our machines are older, but they still work just fine if you know how to handle them. The heat in Kanjikode can be tough in the summer months, so we try to get the heavy work done early. We aren't a huge company with hundreds of employees. We’re just a small group of people who know how to work with metal. It’s a living, and it keeps us busy. We just take the jobs as they come and try to do a decent job.
