Mangifera Agrofarm Private Limited is based out of No: 3/150 Pallam, in the Muthalamada-Il area. It’s a place that’s really tied to the land here. We focus on our farming activities and trying to run things as a proper business, even though it’s a small operation. The name Mangifera probably tells you what we are mostly interested in, but there is always plenty of other work to do on the farm. We aren't some big city firm with a polished image. We are just people who know how to grow things. Our office is part of the farm area, so there is always a bit of dust or mud around, depending on the season. We spend our days checking on the trees and making sure everything is growing like it should. It’s a lot of manual labor, and sometimes the sun is really brutal out here. We don’t have a fancy website or a bunch of people in suits. Most days, you’ll find us in our work clothes, dealing with the irrigation or the soil. We wanted to make sure our farming was handled correctly, so we registered the company to keep things organized. It helps with the selling part too. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time. Sometimes the harvest is great, and sometimes it’s a struggle, but that’s just how it goes when you work with nature. We just keep planting and hope for the best for the next season ahead of us.
