Fluid Control Research Institute

Being out here at Kanjikode West is where the Fluid Control Research Institute is based. It’s a bit away from the main city rush, which actually makes it easier to focus on what we are doing. The area around here is more industrial and open, so there’s plenty of space. We don’t have a flashy office with a bunch of decorations. It’s mostly just labs and work areas where we spend our time looking at equipment and checking data. The weather can get pretty hot in this part of the world, so we are always glad for the shade inside the building. Most of us live nearby or commute in, and we’ve become a tight group over the years. We don’t really follow a corporate handbook or anything like that; we just know what needs to be done and we get to it. You might see people walking around in lab coats or just casual clothes depending on the day. There is a sense of quiet here that you don't get in the middle of town. We take our breaks together and talk about regular things, not just work. It’s a practical place for practical people. We’ve been here in Kanjikode West for a long time, and it feels like home to most of us now. Nothing fancy, just a lot of hard work happening every day.
