We are located at Door No 3/964, 972, and 975 on Perinthalmanna Road. This is in Mele Pattambi and it is a very busy part of the town. Our shop is where we keep all the gold and jewelry that people buy for weddings or gifts. We have been in this spot for a while and most families around here know the name. It is a family business at heart even though it says L L P on the papers. We spend our time showing people different chains and rings. Buying gold is a big deal for families so they stay for a long time and look at everything closely. We have chairs for them to sit and we offer water while they decide. The road outside is always full of buses and cars going towards Perinthalmanna. Inside it is a bit quieter though the light is very bright to show the metal properly. We check the daily gold rates every morning and write them on the board. We don't do big advertisements or anything like that. People come because their parents came here before them. We just try to weigh everything correctly and give a fair price for the making charges. It is a traditional way of doing business in Pattambi. We also help with old gold exchange if people want to trade in their items for something new. It is busy but we like seeing the happy faces of folks getting something special.
