Dhanya Industries

We are Dhanya Industries. Our place is at 12, Vellanur, in Thenkurissi. It is a quiet spot compared to the big cities. You can hear the birds sometimes in the morning before the machines start up. Thenkurissi is a place where people know their neighbors. We are part of that. Our building is a bit old, but it does the job. We have some shed space and a small office area. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we have big windows that we keep open. There is no air conditioning here, just the breeze. We do industrial work, so it can get a bit messy. There are grease marks on some of the walls and the floors are concrete. It’s a hardworking environment. We don't put on any acts. If you come to see us, you’ll see us in our work clothes. We have a small yard where we keep some materials. The gate squeaks a bit when you open it. We should probably oil it but we always forget. It’s just the way it is. Most of the people working here are from around the village. We’ve grown slowly over the years. We don't have a website that looks like a movie. We just have our name on a board outside. It is a simple life and a simple business. We like it that way. We drink water from the clay pot in the corner because it stays cool naturally. Most of the guys here have been with us since we started out at this spot.
