Cmb Live Catering

Cmb Live Catering is situated at No V/1126 on the Pattambi Main Road. We’re in Palakkad, right across from Veeramani. Most of our time is spent in the kitchen area where it’s usually pretty loud with the sound of knives hitting cutting boards or water boiling in large vats. It gets quite hot in there, especially during the summer months in Kerala. We don't have a big polished front office because we are mostly in the back working with the food. When we have a big order, the whole place smells like spices and fried onions for hours. Sometimes the delivery van is a bit temperamental, so we have to leave earlier than planned just in case. Dealing with the traffic on the main road can be a bit of a headache too. We aren't a huge corporation with fancy uniforms; it’s mostly just us in aprons trying to make sure the rice isn't overcooked and the salt is just right. People in Pattambi know us as the folks who are always carrying big stainless steel containers around. We like being in this part of town because it’s lively and there’s always something going on. Sometimes we run out of gas or a burner acts up, but we figure it out. It’s just the daily grind of running a catering setup. We stay busy and that’s how we like it. There is always a pile of dishes waiting to be cleaned.
