We are based at Moothedath Mana in Nedungottur. That’s in the Palghat area of Kerala. It’s a traditional kind of place. We aren't in a modern office building with a lot of glass. We work from a spot that has some history to it and feels solid. Palghat is known for its fields and the wind that blows through the gap in the hills. We do development work around here. It’s mostly helping people with their land or building small projects. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just talk to people in the village. Nedungottur is a small place, so everyone knows what everyone else is doing anyway. We keep our records in big ledgers and some on the computer. It’s a mix of old and new ways of doing things. We don't try to sound like a big company from the city. We are local people through and through. We know the local weather and the local problems that come with building here. Sometimes we have to stop work because of the monsoon rains being so heavy. We just take it as it comes. Sobha Developers is just our name for the business, but we are really just neighbors.
