Kristal Group has a presence here in Shoranur, specifically at Chundatt House in Manjakkad. This is in the Palakkad district of Kerala, and the pace of life is quite different from the big cities. The office is basically a house, which makes it feel very welcoming and low-key. We are surrounded by a lot of greenery, and when the monsoon hits, the rain on the roof is so loud we have to shout to be heard. Being in Kerala, we deal with a lot of local regulations and land issues that are specific to this landscape. The address is 679121 if you are looking for it. We don't have a big shiny sign out front. People just know where Chundatt House is. We work on housing and land development in the local area. Most of us speak Malayalam and know all the neighbors. It is a very community-focused way of doing business. We sit around the big table in the main room and go over plans. There is no corporate dress code here; we just wear what is comfortable for the weather. We aren't trying to be something we aren't. We are just a local group working on local projects, trying to make sure things get finished on time despite the humidity and the slow pace of the afternoon heat. It is a simple way of working for us.
