Most people looking for us head to Plot No G2 on Road No 2 in Bank Colony. It’s a pretty quiet residential-turned-commercial area in Vijayawada. We spend most of our time dealing with all sorts of nuts. You’ll see bags of cashews and almonds piled up in the corners when you walk in. It’s a lot of sorting, honestly. We have to look through everything by hand sometimes to make sure only the good stuff gets through. The sound of nuts hitting the metal sorting trays is something you get used to pretty quickly. We aren't a big factory with robots. It’s mostly just us sitting at the tables or moving bags around on trolleys. Sometimes the dust from the shells gets everywhere, so we’re constantly sweeping the floors to keep the place tidy. It’s a simple operation at 60-12-7. We don't have a fancy showroom or a big staff. It's just a few of us making sure the nuts are dried and packed correctly. People from the colony often stop by to see what we’re doing. We don't have a big corporate strategy; we just try to buy good stock and not mess it up before it gets to the customers. The weather in Vijayawada can be really humid, which isn't great for nuts, so we have to be extra careful about how we store everything. It’s just a regular workday for us, keeping the supplies moving. We just keep our heads down and get the bags filled and stacked up for delivery.
