Kusumagiri Farmer Producer Company Limited

Kusumagiri is our small company in Malayanuru Village. It’s located in the Kundurpi part of Ananthapur. The office is at 3-27A, right in the village panchayat area. We are all local farmers here. Most of us have small plots of land that we’ve worked on for a long time. It gets really hot here in Ananthapur, so we talk a lot about the rain and when it might come. We formed this group to help with the selling part of farming. Usually, when you go to the market alone, you don't have much power. Together, we can talk to the buyers better. Our office isn't much to look at. It has some chairs and a table where we sit and discuss our plans. We don't have a lot of fancy technology. Just some notebooks and a phone. We try to help the younger guys learn how to manage the crops. It's a quiet village life for the most part. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to get supplies, so we share the transport. It saves us a bit of money on diesel. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation. We just want to make sure our families are okay and the farm stays running. People around here are hardworking. We wake up early and stay out late. That's just how it is. The cows out back sometimes make more noise than the people in the office. We just take it all in stride.
