Kisan Mythri Farmers Producer Company Limited is located at 272, Sta Nagar in Jaggaiahpet. We are a group that came together because we were tired of doing everything on our own. In a place like Jpt, everyone knows everyone, so it wasn't hard to find people who wanted to join in. We deal with the day-to-day grind of farming life. Our office isn't much to look at but it serves its purpose when we need to gather and figure out our next move. Some of us grow grain and others have different crops, but the problems we face are usually the same. We try to buy things like seeds in bulk so it’s cheaper for everyone. It sounds easy but coordinating a hundred different farmers is like herding cats. There is always someone unhappy about something, but we work through it because we have to. We don't use big words or have a five-year plan. We just look at what needs to be done this week and try to get it finished. Life in Jaggaiahpet moves at its own pace and we just follow along. We are just regular people trying to make a living off the land and hoping that by working together we don't go broke when the market takes a dip. It’s a lot of manual labor and even more talking around the old wooden table in our office every single afternoon.
