Jikuankaj Agriculture (Opc) Private Limited is based in Naya Bazar. This is a very busy part of North Delhi. Our place is at 2704-2706 on the ground floor of Plot-2 in Gali Patta Wali. If you have ever been to Naya Bazar you know how crowded it gets with all the trucks and laborers moving bags around. It is a major hub for grain and seeds and we fit right in. The office is tucked away in a narrow lane. We spend our days talking to traders and checking the quality of the seeds that come in. There is a lot of noise and dust right outside our door. Inside we just try to keep things moving. We deal with the agriculture side of the trade. Since it is an OPC it is a very small operation. We do not have many people on staff. Just the essentials to keep it running. Sometimes we have tea with the neighbors while we discuss the latest market prices. The building is quite old but it has a lot of character. You can actually smell the different grains in the air here. We do not have any fancy furniture. We just have sturdy tables that can hold heavy samples. We have been in this area for a long time and we know these lanes very well. It is not a place for someone who wants peace. It is for people who like being where the action is. (258 words)
