Urban Spices Private Limited is located over at Jyoti Appartment in Sector 14 Extension. If you know Rohini, you know it can get pretty crowded, but our spot in B-40 is manageable. We spend most of our mornings getting things ready for the day ahead. There’s always a lot of back and forth with suppliers and making sure everything is where it needs to be. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us working out of this apartment space. We moved here because it made sense for where we live and how we wanted to work. Sometimes the elevator is slow, so we take the stairs. It’s just one of those things you deal with. We try to keep things simple and avoid all the noise. Working in New Delhi means there's always something going on outside, but once we're inside at B-40, we just focus on the task at hand. We deal with spices and all that goes with it, which keeps us busy enough. No one here wears a suit unless they really have to. We prefer just getting the work done without much fuss. The neighbors at Jyoti Appartment are used to us by now. It’s a practical setup that works for us. We've been here for a while and it feels like home now, just a regular place for regular work.
