Tegh Art Gallery

Tegh Art Gallery is located at BP-57 in Pitampura. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time. We have several rooms where we hang things up on the walls. Most of the work here is just keeping the dust off the frames and making sure the lighting isn't too harsh on the eyes. We don't have a big staff, usually just one or two of us sitting near the entrance at BP-57. Sometimes people wander in from the neighborhood just to look around. We don't say much unless they ask something. The floor is tiled and stays cool even when it's hot outside in Pitampura. We spend our mornings rearranging the pieces or checking the hooks. It's not a loud place. You can hear the fans whirring in the ceiling. We keep a desk in the corner with a bunch of papers and pens. Sometimes the door creaks when it opens, but we haven't gotten around to oiling it yet. It’s a practical space, not like those high-end places you see in magazines. We just provide the walls and the roof. We’ve got some storage in the back for crates and packing material. The street outside can get a bit dusty, so we wipe the front glass pretty often. It's just a regular day-to-day job for us here. We like the quiet pace of things and the way the sun hits the street during the late afternoon.
