We spend most of our days here at 32, Raja Enclave in Pitampura dealing with tea. It's a busy spot on Road No. 44. My name is one of the few here and we've been Smriti Tea for a while now. Some mornings start really early when the big trucks come in, and the smell of the raw tea leaves just hangs in the air around the office. We aren't a big fancy corporate office or anything like that, just a practical space where we get things sorted. People around this part of Pitampura know where we are. We handle most of the packing and the shipping ourselves right from this building. It’s a lot of manual work, checking the bags and making sure every label is stuck on straight. Sometimes the tea dust gets everywhere, on the desks and the floor, but that's just how the business is. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India, we just want to do our daily job and go home to our families. Usually, it's just a few of us making sure orders for the local shops get out on time. If you're driving down Road No. 44, you've probably seen our small sign. We've stayed in this Raja Enclave spot because it works for us. It’s a bit cramped when we have a big shipment arriving, but we make it work. Most days are just about filling crates and talking to the drivers who know the city routes.
