Our setup for Shotam Instrumentation Pvt Ltd, New Delhi is in Rohini, Sector-4. We are actually based out of a residential area, specifically MIG-87 in Pocket B8. It’s the home of Mr. S.K. Sharma, and Vikas Garg manages everything from here. Being in a residential pocket means it's a bit quieter than a commercial market, though the parking can be a real nightmare if you have visitors coming by unexpectedly. We handle instrumentation work, so we have a lot of small boxes, sensors, and delicate tools stored in the rooms. It’s definitely not a typical office with cubicles. It feels more like a lived-in space where work happens to get done. We spend a lot of time on our laptops or packing up kits to be sent out to customers. Delhi summers are really something else, so we basically live under the AC from May until September. Sometimes the courier guy has trouble finding the specific pocket because the numbering in Rohini can be a bit confusing if you aren't from around here. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist greeting people at the door. It’s just a straightforward operation where we focus on the technical details of the instruments we sell. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors all know us by now. It’s a practical way for us to run the business without all the extra costs of a big office.
