Manglam Drug House

Manglam Drug House is located in Jaina Apartments, which is in Sector 13 of Rohini. It’s not a big storefront like you see in the main markets. Instead, we are at number 218. The space is mostly filled with tall shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. We have to use a ladder to get to the boxes on the top rows. It stays pretty quiet here compared to the busy streets outside. We spend a lot of our time checking expiry dates and making sure everything is in the right spot on the shelf. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking lists against the boxes that arrive every morning. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time parking near the apartments, so we have to carry the crates ourselves. It’s just me and a helper usually. We know most of the people who live in the building and the ones nearby too. They stop by to pick up what they need or just to say hello while we are sorting through the stock. It’s a very routine kind of life. We open up early and stay until the evening. The light in the back of the shop is a bit dim, but we’ve got the layout memorized so we don’t trip over anything. It’s just a regular local spot where we try to keep things organized and helpful for the neighbors. Nothing fancy about it at all.
