Usha Handicrafts New Delhi

Our place is located in Rohini Sector 11, specifically at C-1 295 and 296. It’s a busy neighborhood in New Delhi where homes and small businesses sit right next to each other. We work with handicrafts, which means there’s usually a lot of stuff piled up in different corners of our space. It’s not a polished gallery or a fancy store. It feels more like a workshop where things are actually being made or sorted out. You’ll see fabrics, wood pieces, or whatever else we’re working on at the time. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot in. In the summer, the Delhi heat makes it tough, but we manage with the fans and some cold water. We’ve been in this part of Rohini for a good while. Most of the neighbors know us and what we do. We don’t have a big sign out front that lights up at night. It’s just a regular door that stays open during the day. Sometimes people stop by just to see what’s new, though we’re usually too busy to chat for long. We do our own packing and shipping from here too. It’s a family-run kind of feel, even if we’re focused on the business side of things. We just try to keep up with the demand and make sure things get out on time. It’s a lot of manual work and checking small details.
